NOT A WALK IN THE PARK

Hello everybloggie. Imagine. Actually. Don't have to. Going to show you. There I was. Minding my own taking my wig on a wiry wagger in my Royal Park. When suddenly an unbelievable sight. Right before my very mince pies.

Noooooo!!!! Miss Enid. My pesky wheelie. Taking a wheel about!!!!! Agggh.

She followed my every move. Once she got started. Wheelie useless. No gears or anything. Always needs a push start. Wish she'd push right off.

Decide to ignore her. I mean. Would you want to be clocked with a wheelie silly looking wheelie???

Who was a-posing and a-preening in her Sunday Best furs hat and wrap? Her Christmas present from Lacie. Made by Butchie and Katie's clever Mom. (Be super duper adorning my Toffee girl pupcake eh? But on a wheelie??? Wheelie.) Square M pulled the alpha treat trick. " Eric No treats 'till you learn to be kind to Miss Enid. Play nicely please"

So. Gave old E my best play bow. Yeah. I know she's facing the other way but them peskies have their pies where the sun don't....I mean..... in the back of their sawdust heads.

I know. Checked it out for me self earlier. . .

So. Playtime!!! Bellowed in her ear'ole. "Let's play Hide and Seek Miss E!"

"Get up on this lookie out post" With that I heeve-hoed that rag bag of wood fill right up on where she came from. Made her feel right at home. Wood fill on Wood. Snigggggersnort. She looks happy 'eh? Soaking up the ray's.

"Close your mincies. I SAID CLOSE 'EM. Now count to one hundred squary squillion billion trillion. While I trot my foxy self off to hide. AND. NO PEEPING'. Call you when I'm readdddy...... "

Course I didn't. Call. Hide. Or anything. Xcept. See me waaaaay off in the distance? Trotting off home? Dumb Enid. Probably still there. Counting. And counting. Haaaaaa!!! Guess it'll be a wheelie long time before I see her again . . .

A WINTER WARDROBE

Posted by Mother Square while Eric's sleeping.
Miss Enid asked me to convey to you all "her heartfelt felicitations" and her most "gracious apologies" not to be here. And to make sure "I beseech one and all not to tell Eric about this post. You know how he will extract his revenge on myself and my foster wheelie charges " But oh my. Miss Enid wanted you to know she received her very own special parcel this week!! Kindly sent from one of her dearest Etiquette pupils, little Miss Lacie. Containing a couturier item from the House of Lamb (Butchy and Katie)!!! A wonderful REAL FOX FUR wrap to keep her old sawdust warm!!!!! She so feels the cold in her old metal bones.

Miss Enid's gradually recovering from her attack of the vapours. Such a shocking ordeal for an one so old. She's presently resting in a hideout. A very safe one. Eric was scolded and put in the naughty corner. Miss Enid however did ask me to convey "Her fondest love and gratitude " to Miss Lacie for her kind thoughtfulness. She said "It was a wonderful surprise. I'm delighted dearest Lacie. My fox fur wrap is charming, and even, may I be so forward as to think, most becoming against my old furs. Your solicitous behaviour Lacie, is most commendable."

UNUSUAL SIGHTS IN THE PARK

Yoohoo everybloggie! Bit of an unusual walk in the park last weekend. First up. No rain! Blue skies! Daffy's beginning to dilly too. And. I set my peepers on the magical white deers. Dear little dears aren't they? You hardly ever see them. Well I see 'em sometimes. But you don't. Now you have! They're pretty special you know.

What have we here? Uh. Not much. Only wheelie Sweet Pea bowling along in the wide open spaces.

Seems she's entering Miss Enid's Scruffs Dog Show. Was looking for a wheelie dangerous place for her photo entry. Being friendly for once. Gave her a little paw up to help her look over the fence for the perfect location. Good boy Eric. Got a treat for me wheelie?

Glory be. I even went out of my way to give her a game of chase. Exercise her creaky joints.

See. She really is up the tree. Bet you were scoffing eh? Thinking I'd been photoshopping. Well. Blow me down. Would you of believed her tyre treads had enough traction to wheelie up trees?

Which reminds me. Wheelies!Get those entries into Miss Enid's Scruff's Dog Show. Tell you what. I'm feeling specially generous. Enter as many wheelies as you like in the SINGLES category. Yep. Can't wait to get my teeth into that show.

You'll be proud of me everybloggie. On the way home. Made sure I gave our wheelie Sweet Pea Clementine a push in the right direction. Yeah. Quite the perfect location for her. Tee.Hee.

EAT A CAT - PROPER BEHAVIOUR AROUND WHEELIES

Hey everybloggie! Did you know Lakie Lacie sent my pesky Miss Enid a present via my flat self when I was in Boston? Couple of fusty books. Ancient as Miss Enid. And as boring. All about Eat A Cat. Proper Posh.

What's that? Nice of Lacie? NO. IT'S. NOT. Lacie and Miss Enid have already been advising Eat A Cat matters on Lacie's blog. Silly Miss Enid's got's it into her sawdust to teach me how to mind my Pees. And Queues. Me? Need teaching? As if. Course I sneaked a peek at her book. When she wasn't wheeling round on her wonkies.

Yep. As I thought. I know it all. Pretty boooooring stuffies. Written in olde fashionede English.

OOhhh. There's a chapter on Eat A Cat Behaviour with Wheelies. Haaaaaa!!! Made me do a proper Lacie smirk.(Said Eric..... tilting his head to one side. ......placing his paw in front of his mouth to stop his giggles escaping. EEK!!!!!!. I'm even WRITING like Lacie now!!!!. And noooo!!!.....writing in purple toooooo.) Miss Enid wants to publish a monthly column with her advice on Eat A Cat stuffie. Where? Can you blogging believe it? Only on my bloggie!!! NEVER!!! So. Who better to teach. You? Than Me? With photo examples for ease of learning. Thoughtful eh? OkeyDokey. Let's get on with it. Lesson One. Eat A Cat Behaviour with Wheelies.

One needs to greet every Wheelie in a companionable manner each morning.

Like so. Light up your face with a wide welcoming toothy grin. Repeat this smile until your jaws are snappin' smiley style. Like Mr.Crocodile. (Pardon me. Let me introduce. Sweet Pea. Travelled all the way from A Merry Car. Via Mom's wheelie exchange programme with Jake and Fergie's Moma. More on that another time)

In polite circles one would follow up with the normal dog to dog greeting.

But. Do be considerate everybloggie.

Make them feel comfortable about it. Next. As new Wheelies arrive. Show enthusiasm.

Look lively! That's the spirit! Jump for joy. Introduce yourself. For example."Good day Wheelie. I'm Eric. Wagging to eat err.. meet you". Here I'm greeting Albert from Germany. He's a Prince among Wheelies. Gave him a Right Royal going over.

Take a keen interest in Wheelies wheel abouts.

Trust me. They will be overjoyed by your surprise visit. As this demonstration of my solicitous approach to Miss Enid whilst studying in the library. Of course. All work and no play makes for a dull wheelie indeed. Give them a play bow.

Enables parts to be exercised that a wheelies oil can can't reach. Sets their wheels in motion tickety boo. Remember. It's good manners to reciprocate by giving chase. Immediately. Don't you just love their exuberance for all games?

Compliment one's Wheelie.

I often whisper sweet little nothings into Miss Enid's ear 'oles. Common Courtesies. Like. "How tasty you look today dear Miss Enid" Miss Enid cried when I told her that. Totally proved my point. They truly do appreciate how you go out of your way to make them feel wanted and adored.

Try one's best to be affectionate. Kissing Wheelie often.

Nose bump to teeth is the usual way. You'll hear them squeeeeel with pleasure. Most rewarding. Show affection in word and deed.

The gentle laying of one's paw (to calm a fierce ferocious wheelie who's been shut in a crate for safety) will be much appreciated.

Wheelies are, by nature, sociable. Take them out for regular wheel abouts.

As demonstrated by my goodly self. Here. At Hampton Court Palace with Miss E and Foster Boy Winston. I'm busy leading them up the Garden Path.

and here, taking Foster Winston out in the zoomer for a spin...

Lucky Wheelies. I even treated them to a museum trip. Nothing they like better than a bit of Wheelie Heritage.

At the end of a long exciting day. Most important. Escort them to bed to watch over them. You never know what they get up to.

Though it's permissable to send a trusted envoy instead.

HAAAA HAAAAAAA!!! Looksee. As if I would EVER do that Eat A Cat thingie. But. Hmmm. Perhaps Miss Enid and myself might be paw sueded. To give you Proper. Pucker. Ette Kett lessons from her old books. Sometime. What say you everybloggie? Now Ette Kett dictates I need to apologise. Sorry. I'm not able to visit your fabulous selves next week. Sniff. Square Mom mentioned something about my flat self. Feasting on a Big Apple. Tootle Pip.

PRESSING NEWS AND TIMES

Hey ho everyboggie! You still out there? Or forgotten me? Apologies. Been pressing busy times for the leggeds. Sorry. Not even been able to paw or suede Mom to help me visit you or update my bloggie. Despite my having oodles of Pressing News to bark about. Like this. My bestest pal Petey. He's created a terrific Thankful Award.

To count our blessings for our bloggie followers. I do indeedy. Boy oh boy. Did I do a lot of fox trotting when Petey has given me this award? Darn right I did. I'm passing on to five of you as Petey asked. Before I do. Gotta break the rules and return it to my bestest pal Petey. He's always full of wagging Good Ideas. Like this one. Great intentions too. Ways to raise money for deserving causes. Then his Dedication to Photoshop beyond duty! Remember how his action packed wedding photos included everydoggie that ever blogged???!!! Heck. You get the idea. He's the best. Wicked good fun too. But five only Petey? Gee. Difficult when of course you appreciate everybloggie. Not forgetting our foxy pal sweet Angel Snickers, Butchy and her family.Send many blessing their way too.

Right ho. I'll get on with it. First. Dip the lights. Wait a looooong aggravating minute. Like they do on reality T V shows. ................ OK. In no particular order. My first bark. Agatha and Archie. Their blog never fails to lift my spirits. Makes me laugh my square head off at their antics. Curiously. Often similar to mine. Are truly faithful friends as well as relatives!!! Leave everybloggie chatty and clever, witty comments plus the do THE most fantabulous tours of Boston. For no payment! Don't even expect a tip! Yep. I feel blessed Twinny and Step.

Next.Fergie and Jake. Most times I come away from their blog humbled, often sniffing, a little teary with joy or sadness in equal measure. (I'm in touch with my girlie side) Their beautiful way with words. Always yapping the stuff at the right time, compassionate and caring. The glimpse they give into the reality of US puppy farming has shocked me Mom all the way there and back again. And a bit more too.And make us eager to dig deep and do what we can to help from this side of the big one. Feel truly blessed to be part of their journey.

Drummm rolllllll please. For Norwood. My crazy pal with a wacky sense of humour that has me snorting with laughter. Always. Unfailingly. And his cousin Tula too who's taught me loads of interesting stuffie in a zany way about helping and training reactive dogs. Course I've stored Norwoods froggie stuff somewhere in my noggin too. Paws up to you and cousin Tula! Consider yourself both blessed.

Spotlight. Shining on The Three Terriers. Scruffy. Lacie. Stan. Now. Frankly. They are as they say. A little nuts. A little?? Understatement !!! Wag to their blog with a big grin of anticipation on my chops and leave with a wider one. Funny beyond measure. Wickedly off the wall. Woof with pleasure at their antics and witty comments. Generous. Clever. Yep. That Lacie. Mixes a mean martini too. What ever I bark. Love her to pieces really. Boys too. Bless 'em.

Her sweet natuwe. Kindness. Extending the paws of fwiendship to every fouw legged and remembering all those in need. And her lisp makes me giggle. She gives sensational smoochies too. Hewe's squillions fow you Asta. XXXXXXXXXXX
Love Ewic. (Gee that r/w thingie is hawd to do)

Of course goes without barking. I'm truly thankful for my Pupcake. Sweetie Toffee. Mixed blessing of love, loyalty and good mates. She's funny ha ha. And gazing at her ears sends me into a Foxy Frenzy. Which brings me to other my other Pressing News. Toffee's Mom came to see Me. Me. Me. All the way from A Merry Car. Sadly. Toffee wasn't able to wag over. Not even her flat self. Sniff. Think it's 'cos my wiries were washed down the plug 'ole? My Puffy Fluffies. Put her off? I mean. Gasp. She not only after my Wiry Wagger. Is she???

Still. Had a wicked time with TM. A pushover for a treat. Or thirtyfourtyfifty. Had me eating right out of her hand. And lookie. Nearly as cute as my Toffee eh? I took her for an off lead womble on Wimbledon Common. When. Suddenly. Mid walkies. I did a double take. About turn! As my mincies spied Pupcake. Far on the horizon . . .

We ran in sloooowmotiooooon towards each other. Alas. Sniff. She was only a lookie-likey.

Not my One and Only. And yeah. No need for the comments. My rear end really does look Relentless Huge with my new furs doo. Want to know my other Pressing News? It's Relentlessy Huge too. Jackson, Our Foxy Leader and me are going to be featured in the UK publication "Your Dog" magazine!!! Imagine!!! Me and my Hero Jackson. Together. IN PRINT. Wow!!! What a honour. J1 and Mom Square were both interviewed for a Wire Fox Terrier Breed feature for the December/January issue. Course. Mom was asked to send in squillions of photos of my squarie self. Keep asking her if sent good ones. Showing my best features. "Yes. Yes. Yes. I did Eric" she replies. Every time. Thank Dog. Imagine. . .

My dirty rascal self. Featured in the centre spread. Corr. Think I'm looking wirey enough to entice Toffee over??? Gulp. Hope she doesn't set her pies on Jackson's centre spread instead.
