ALLERGY TESTING

Hi-de-hi everybloggie. Been a while. Forget me did you while you were speaking to Miss Enid? Can you believe her cheek? Wheeling over on her wonkies and blabbing all over my bloggie. Bla bla bla. Foster Wheelie. Bla bla bla. OK. He looked sort of harmless. Maybe. You can never be sure. Thank dog. One less wheelie over here for me to keep my mince pies on. Make sure you've got your pies wide open to watch 'em the other side of the big pee.

Now. Got important things to bark about. Me. Me. Me. And my itchy scratchies. Cos I went to back to the specialist Dermatologist Dog Doctor for my allergy skin test. You can read about my first visit here and more about dog allergies here if you want to) The skin test had to be done while I was brimming over with them itchies. And scratchies. Take a looksee. What they did to me. Warning. It's not. Nowhere near. Nice.

Put me in the land of nod. Shaved a square of my wiries off and stuck a big old booboo with lines of holes onto my nekked square self. Then injected a squillion billion needles into the holes. Each with a different kind of itchy scratchies to determine 'xactly what sets me off. (They know it's not food) Took some of my blue blood for testing too!

Know what? When I came round from noddyland I peed practically a pint on the Dog Doctors floor!! Hah! Hah! That told 'em what I thought of it all. Seems. Sniff. Scratch. Boohoooo. I'm allergic to tons of types of trees. Gazzillions of grasses. Whole bunches of weeds. Household dust (Mom said *!^X#:* bout that one). Loads of other stuffies too. Specially DUSTY OLD WHEELIES STUFFIES. HAAAAAAAHHHH!!! Bye Bye wheelies. Nice knowing you. NOT.

But worse. Much worsest. No joke. I'm allergic to CATS DAN DARES. (shed cat skin).

Meeeeeow.OOOOWWWWWW. Bro is fast doling out his Dan Dares moves.

I give 'em back. Fair and Square. Really. THIS STINKS. We're bestest siblings. He waits by the front door every morning for me to return from my walkies...I cry if he mews to come into the room I'm in..we're often together....

for a quick snuggle. Or when he needs a good washing behind his ears ...

I do it for him. See bro use his Dan Dares on me again? The Bad Boy. Bad news too. Been dog-a-blogging sobbing. And not doing much blogging either. Sticking those allergies in sent me into itchy overdrive. And Mom into Eric watch 24/7. I'm staying on anti- histamines and fish/primrose oils for now. Good news is I'll start my new treatment early next year. Weekly injections of my known allergens to desensitise me. Crickey. Up to 2 years. Paws crossed our Dermo Dog Doctor says it helps in about 70% of cases. But me and Mom both dropped in a dead faint when she told Mom she would need to learn how to give me the injections. NOOOOOOOO. Thank Dog. I've had a better idea. Yeah. Get the foxy nursies in to do it. Agatha! Asta! Lacie! Koobus! That OK with you girlies? Ermmm. Can you wear your new tight nursie froxies? Smmmmoooooking!!! Hot To Trot. Bound to be the cure.

Mom Square. We're very sad about Eric's cat dander allergy diagnosis. We're hoping he's not too badly affected as his problems are seasonal while the cat sheds all year. Luckily Otis always sleeps upstairs day/night while Eric is always downstairs so I can keep them apart as much as possible but it would be hard on them, they've such a strong bond. I've read about a US product called "Allerpet" that helps eliminate cat dander by applying it to the cat's coat. Really aimed at humans but it's the same allergen so guess it could work?! Eric and I would be very grateful for advice if you've got experience of a dog with a cat dander allergy or used Allerpet. Thanks!)

OUR FOSTER BOY

Good day to you. Miss Enid Wheelie on Wheels here. Eric Esq. is indisposed. At the Dog Doctors having skin tests for his allergies today. No doubt he'll blog about it soon. Meantime Mother's allowed me to use his blog to tell you of us Pensioner Stuffies Summer Venture. I do hope Eric doesn't have my straw innards out again for this don't you? Now dears. Did you read Master Jake and Miss Fergie's story telling of the wheeless wheelie ?

And their heart tugging Smile Box post of the same sad wheelie? Then read on dear readers. Read on....

Us stuffies up here. High on the shelf.
In Square Dog House where we dwell
Want to share with you our secret
So sit. Everybloggie. We’ll tell . . .

How we rescued this doggie from ebay
For a family, right over the pee
Who had fallen in love with poor wheelie
Nina. Mom. Master Jake. And Fergie.

Had seen better days had our foster.
No wheelies. Lost. Sad. And forlorn
But we fell for his charm in a heartbeat
No matter he was tatty. And torn.

Us stuffies we gathered to welcome
Telling. “Bide with us here for a time
While your family are off a-travelling
You are safe here! All will be fine!"

“Foster Boy. Be proud! Hold your head up.
Though wheel less and patched up you be
Your family will call for you soonest
They’ll love you for ever! You’ll see!”

Square Mom fell in love with our foster
Head over wheels to his wheel less charms
Twas a sight we became most used too
Her cuddling him tight in her arms.

Now Eric. Our squarie. He jumped him
Bitied all over his patched up face
That dog. TUT. TUT. No manners!
In fact.He is quite a disgrace.

How different his brother sweet Otis
The Russian Blue grey little kitten
Nicely kissed n purred his greetings
Yes. All in Square House were smitten.

Foster stayed with us all of the summer
Much to Miss Enid’s delight
A companion to dine and take tea with
And company all through the night.

Foster Boy. Now all happy and smiley
Took turns in our garden for hours
And once in a while. Along the way
He would stop to smell the flowers.

Foster penned a card to his family
How he thought of them day and night
Looking forward to travelling home wards
But meantime. He was doing. All right.

By the by. Do hope you like my tune. We played it for dearest Foster Boy everyday to let him know how loved he would be here and in his new home over the pee. Remember. Check Master Jake and Miss Fergie Pretty Spots blog for updates on Foster Boy too! I'll tell you more another time. If Eric will let me. I bid you farewell dearest readers. From Miss Enid Wheelie on Wheels.

ROYAL MALE

Hi everybloggie! How are you? I'm happy as my friend Happy. Take a peek at the award Happy presented me with. Thanks a million Happy. Way cool. Like it? Please take it,from me to you. I think all your blogs are Cool. Freezing.Tee,hee!

The Royal Mail van visited me this week too. Clock the new logo on the side of the van. Rightly Royal huh?

Dropped off a parcel for Eric Square Dog. Wait up, that's me! Parcel for me? From none other than His Majesty. King Simba. A Royal pardon? A Summons? A Knighthood? (Arise Sir Eric! )

Goosey Gander what was inside?

This socking big stocking! Filled with luscious lollipops. And a pawsonally signed card. Plus his likeness. Note what the label says Mother. For a GOOD BOY. Nuff said. Thanks a squillion Simba. What a lovely surprise. Simply pawfect. And organised. Dog-a-blogging impressive. Only November! Must of got his servants permanently at his Beg and Recall. Wonder how he did that? Leggededs haven't even got my cards ready.

I kissed Simba's paw print in humble homage and gracious gratitude. As a good subject should. (Hmmmm...think I can sell the Royal Paw Print on Mr.E.Bay?)

And paw-formed a deep Royal Bow before his presence. Well, as Royal as a subject wearing one sock can manage. Haaaaaaa!

Barking of socks, I'm off to the vets again next week bout my AL. ER. GEES. To determine the next step. Either a blood or skin test. I've been feline a bit better this week too. Hooray. Not so itchy-scratchy. Hope my good pal Archie with his AL.ER.GEES is feline better too. Please wag your wig by, wish him well.

GOOD. BAD. UGLY.

Hello bloggies! Wagging good to see you. But don't look at ME. No really. Don't. Promise me you won't. I'm not handsome anymore ...waaaaaaah!!!!!! I'm Ugly Eric. My paws all pinkie. My beard stained. Skin's all glowing pinkie too. And I've been biting my paws so bad they bledded. Now I've got big ouchies on my paws and a loonie looking lampshade on my square head. And to boot, Mom's been making me wear her socks on my front leggededs when I'm not wearing the loonie lampshade. Oh woe is me......

Hey, I said NO peeking. Gonna turn my head away. I'm a sorry sight.(But at least I was allowed on one of the spare beds, he,heh!!) Proper poorly. I've got the LURGEY. WaaaaaaaaaHHHH. I've had if for a few weeks now. The itchies. And scratchies. Real bad. All over every inch of my square body. We poor Wireys are prone to it. Al Lurgey ees. First time I've had one and won't go away. I went to the vets again yesterday for a check up to see if I was better. But, sob, I'm not. She told Mom I have to stay on medication for another 6 weeks. Then carry on having paw dips in my special shampoo every day and baths with it too. TWICE A WEEK. GULP. NOoooooooooooo. Plus I'm to keep the lampshade or socks on if Mom thinks I need them. Oh woe, what's a dog to do??????

Gets worser. Food. Or lack of it. I always eat a holistic organic food but now I'm only to be chow down one type at every meal for the next 6 weeks to see if it might be a protein that's the problem. That's the first thing to try. Oh and bloggies that's not ALL. No treats. No sneaky snacks. Not even scrunchy munchies from the cat tray. Or his bowl. Our lovely new DogTor, who luckily specialises in skin problems, told us we have a long windy road ahead to get me better. I've been dog-a-blogging-sobbing. Boooooo hooooo. Me and Mom have been making that big pee pond a lot bigger again this week.

But then a wagging thing happened! A parcel turned up from my admirer, the lovely Toffee. Have I told you I'm sort of sweet on her? He,he!

Got the parcel opening down pat now, despite my one sock handicap. Pay attention. Here's my demonstration for you. It's easy peasy, just pull back the tear strip like so.....

.....stick your noddle right inside the envelope or box like this .....

....and extract the goodies inside, hiding them from the nosey camera. It's YOUR parcel after all. If you happen to be wearing a sock, try and shake it of like I did before .....

....you study the gift at your own leisure. WOW! Peel your peepers!! It's a totally WICKED Howl o een Pumpkin Man. Boy oh boy! I've never had a Howl o een toy before. Isn't Toffee the most kindest, most pawfect little pupcake? And um....a b b beauty too.

Look Toffee! I'm dancing a jig of joy for you to thank you for ever for my mostest pawfect present,it's the bestest. And smells all sweet like you ...awww. Now I need to sneak me some snackies before Mom catches me.

Pretty impressive what a doggie can do wearing a pair of socks huh? Tee,hee!!!!!! But I saw Mom eying up some Santa's elves boots in desperation the other day. WTF!!!!(as Tanner would say) She wouldn't. Would she????

If you happen to visit the Nursies can you send them over if they are not too busy? Um and ....pawhaps ask if they can bring Toffee too please? Might wig my wag again. I hope to visit everybloggie soon! I've missed you. Silly old pooter won't let me, keeps crashing but Yappeee!! Our new pooter is being set up next week. Paws crossed.See ya.
