ZEN NEEDED FOR JACKSON

Please hurry over to Jackson's blog. Sadly, us Square Dog's wiry leader, Jackson, is poorly. He and his J's, need our love, zen and support.

J1 told us yesterday Jackson suffered a mild stroke on Thursday. Thank dog Jackson's one tough tenacious terrier. He's made it through that first crucial 24 hours, improved last night too and today he's had a little to eat. It's very early days for him but that's promising. Poor Jackson lost the use of his back legs when it happened but today he managed to take a few steps with J1 supporting him. Sadly the J's vet cautioned while dogs recover quite quickly from strokes he could be left with some disability. Paws tightly crossed this won't be happen. The power of our paws is powerful stuff.

So along with love, zen and prayers, please please please send billions of powerful positive vibes for Jackson to make a complete recovery.

Know you'll understand I'm going to delay Scruffs Dog Show for a while. I'm going to be need every square second to direct and send your zen and stuff on to Jackson as it arrives from over the big pee. I'm off to put out Jackson Prayer Flags while I'm waiting for it to arrive then I'll need to organise the nursies - Asta, Lacie, Agatha and Koobie. Jackson . While you're laying on J1's lap recovering remember we love you pal. Give it your best tenacious terrier square attitude. OK?

Oh Eric, we are sorry to read about Jackson and will be sending bestest basset thoughts to help him recover.
We will head right over there.
Remember Nurse Bailey is happy to lend a helping paw - sometimes her calm basset disposition helps with all these terrier nurses!!!!

OH, that is sad indeed. We are sending all terrier zen and vibes for you to forward, and Teka says that since Miss Asta is not feeling well, she would be happy to fill in as a nursie.

I think I would recommend that Jackson pass on her very kind offer.

Jackson has fought a good fight over the years, and shown us what is means to be a true terrier. We're pulling for him, too!

Such sad news ... We're thankful, Eric, that you have gotten the news out so quickly. 'Cause we know that there are gobs and gobs of families that will join in to send healing zen his way. We're among them.

You know what? Exactly one year ago tomorrow was when we first met our pal Jackson. He was the very first one (after our auntie) to leave a comment on our brand new blog. Then, thanks to him and YOU, life in Dogs with Blogsland took off for us. Because of you two, we are here to join in the Circle of Paws, to send all our very best healing and loving wishes to Jackson and his Js.

We feel so lucky to be part of this community, even when it hurts like crazy to know some of our own are hurting. (We'd offer nursing services, but Fergi is afraid of people in uniforms. I, Jake, on the other hand, just might look stunning in a white or blue nurses cap. Gotta think about that one ....)

Love to you and, of course, to Jackson and his peeps.

Everything we can cross is crossed for Jackson, and boxes full of our Zen is on its way. John had a Sheltie who had a stroke at 14 and she lived and was very fit until 18. So we hope Jackson can pull through.

We will certainly be with Jackson in spirit -- we had to go out just after we got the message, but were thinking about him every minute.

He means so much to all of us -- it's so hard to think of him having even more hurt than he's already had.

And as for J1 and J2, our hearts are with them because we know how they adore their boy and how much they've been through with him.

Wire zen, paws crossed, dog star wished on -- whatever we can do!

Hi Eric, we haven't met you or Jackson before, but we know Jake and Fergie - and any friend of Jake and Fergie has to be pretty special. So we wanted to come by (and we will stop by Jackson's too) and send lots of purrs and prayers for him. It is terrible that he is going through so much and we are crossing our paws (and mom's crossing her fingers) that he is better very soon!

Poor Jackson! He's already been through sooooo much! We're sending all the Aire-zen we can muster and all our paws are crossed for our fearless wiry leader. Yep, we're wiry too...even though the word "wire" isn't in our breed name!

The power of the paw will make him all better!

Aire-hugs,
