VERY FEW WORDS ON A WEDNESDAY

WFT?!!!! Translation. What the Foxie.....

Do I look a happy chappy? No. Arresting aroma's all around. Tormenting terrier walks every collection day.

Reduce landfill! Cut the collections! Save carbon emissions!

Ban Terrier Torture! Bark No! To tempting trash bins. Yes to Ecological Awareness!

I'm ingesting in recycling. Big time. (Before you ask the indelicate question. I use compostable woopsie bags. Hmm. Should I order double my usual quantity?)

Yep. Doing my bit everybloggie. Recycling more. Wasting less. To save our Planet.

I love the mouth open picture you could pop all the waste in there. But I am afraid you would end up like Lady and no furbody wants to be like her, poor girl wags her tail to go out then walks five yards and lies down. We have not seen these wagons up here yet. Have a happy day Eric the mouth.

Mom was just about killing herself laughing at your open-mouth food waste picture, Eric!
Step on foot - open mouth! haha
What we doggies have to put up with! Geez!

Love ya lots,

You are the perfect recycling machine Eric and you don't need all those operating instructions either! Only one...let Eric off his leash & let him do his job! Although, you may have a little more coming out through your other end...but of course, that's good for the flowers.
your cat pal,
Bruce:)

I am on board with that. Do we pick up our terrier disposal unit at the town dump?

Hi Eric
We were interested in your ideas for recycling however, like Bobby, we would have to point out the perils of your suggestion!
Now remember Eric, your body is a temple, you don't want to go putting lots of rubbish in it.
You seemd to have very smart recycling vehicles down your way.
We have nothing so pretty and the workers, it has to be said, are less than cheery these days.
Happy Wednesday
love
Martha & Bailey xxxx
ps I do hope this doesn't mean we have to cut down on trips in the zoomer........

Hmmm...Mayemphis could use your help. Would you consider some consulting in the Mid-south?

Well we like inspecting all the recycling bins on our daily walk round the block. You wouldn't believe how much wine and champagne some of our neighbours quaff each week....As for the food- you know there are far too many vegetables in those receptacles for a man of my carnivorous tastes . I blame the government and this five a day business. Or that chappie who said meat eating causes global warming. Or that thing about meat on the bone causing BSE.
Cheers anyway! H.

Honestly Eric...egg shells? Fruit peelings? Tea Bags??? You really want all those in your gullet??? Have you tried an orange peel, horrible stuff. Personally, I limit my recycling duties to cleaning out plastic containers of yogurt and ice cream. I suggest you do the same. Seriously...fish bones???

Your worried pal,

Petey

Eric, a really funny post. The NSLM's Mom really enjoyed it! However, I didn't think I'd fancy the contents of the bin myself!!

Funny that you mention it. Today was our Recycling Day, but on our walk, all we saw were newspapers and cardboard, beer cans and wine bottles. One more reason to move across the pee. We figure three mouths are better than one, and we already eat carrot scraps and greens. (Moma won't give us 'tater peels ... says every terror she's had has puked them up.)

Just got to thinkin'. After our walk we saw two HUGE coyotes off the deck. In the daylight. Too close for comfort. We're guessing it's no coincidence they were here on Recycling Day. One of 'em did look a little tipsy.

Eric! We have those exact same organic waste recycle containers here in Montreal, but we found out this winter that they crack into widdy biddy pieces in the winter cold, so our super duper recycle dudes need to go back to the drawing board.

On another note, I have seen you twice this week. Suddenly, without warning, you are everywhere in Montreal. Is this some sort of secret square magic trick?

Well, It's very noble of you, Eric, noble indeed to volunteer yourself for recycling duty. You're a poster pup for ecology. My hat's off to ya. Doing your part to help the planet. More doggies should follow your lead, and the world would be a better place. With happier pups. :D

Happy Tails,

Good evening eric
The correctness of recycling is a problem also in Japan.
Garbage is an effective resource.
Of course, though there are a reclaiming thing and a burnt thing, too.
However, the resource of our important earth is recycled.
While thinking about the earth on a wonderful weekend. :D

Gee Eric.... we're sure are glad ta hear that yer recyclin'....Gram 'n Pap put stuff like that (but no meat or meat products) inta our composter. Problem is....we only have one.... 'n the stuff doesn't get a chance ta compost before there's more ta put in...

That's one of the great things about bein' in Florida now....the composter gets ta rest from the constant additions....except it's freezin' there right now...'n we don't think it works then....will we ever get compost????

Anyway, it's great ta know yer helpin' save the earth....just don't eat that stuff....ya might get sick...

Oh my dear!
I would certainly love to do my pawt to help you with the "recycling" of food stuffs! I love food!

My mom says that is a great idea btw. When she lived in Canada her small college town had a similar program. All the green compost bags got put in a large pile to, well, compost. Every year the compost made from the food sold out it was so popular!!
