OLYMPIC GAMES 2012

Hello Everybloggie!!

HAAAAAAA! Look at me shouting out hello to you all! Lenny kindly awarded me a Bronze medal for this, my entry, in the Barking/Singing Event. Weren't the Paw Limpics wagging wonderful? Lenny and his 2 leggededs did the best ever job in hosting them. Thank you Lenny, you're one pawsome pal.

Now in 2012 the real Olympic Games are going to be held on this side of the big pee. The 2 leggededs say, but don't tell this to the rest of the world, .... huh, only if we manage to get the stadium built on time. A stadium? How kind. But really. Do we need a stadium for our games? Won't a field or park be ok for me and you? With lots of trees. And a few hot dog stands if possible.

Going to be some new events too. The highest pee on a tree. How many dog-nuts can you eat in a minute without licking your lips? Pin the tail on the Doggie. Musical Kennels. Blindfolded Dog Butt Sniffing. Who can get the dirtiest in 5 minutes. Fastest Bath Escapes (extra points scored for shaking over the judges).

I've been practising my new game " Dog Box" as my other Olympic entry besides my Recall Dash. This game is from the Nina Ottosson range. Got the Dog Brick Game anydog? I have that too. This game is just as pawsome. (In the UK the best place to get them is from here at big discounted prices!)

Here's the rules I use for the Dog Box game. On command of play, pick up the wooden peg with your teggies and then aim and drop the woody peg straight into the hole in the toy box. Then comes the most impawtant rule of all. Your 2 leggeded gives you an ENORMOUS tasty treat. Now there are two sizes of woody peggie and 2 options of sizes of holes in the top of the toy box. You start with the large sizes of both and progress to the smaller ones as you get better. Here I am playing with the smaller peg and hole. It takes a while to get it right, let me show you . . .

After some enormous chunks of cheesey treats and a bit more practice I think I've got it. Take a gander. Don't blink or you'll miss it.

Not as easy as I make it looks of course. Good huh? A fluke? Huh. As if. Watch me again.

Hey! In 3 seconds!!! Woohoo! With more than 200 more weeks to practice in, think I'm going for gold!

(Excuse me if I don't visit you in the next few days, I have to go for sleepovers at Puppy Play School for a week. You never know, might be shorter. Last week, I was there for a couple of days when Momi was working away. I went on hunger strike to get her to collect me early. It worked!! He,he,he naughty me.)

WOE, you will definitely get the gold metal for that trick. I love it....oh, and please don't starve yourself while at puppy play school. Eat, just do it where no one can see and then they will think you are not eating and call your mum to come and get you.
Lenny and his pawents did an excellent job hosting the pawlymics, can't wait for the next round.

AHEM>>>as a substantial wire, with a corresponding substantial butt, I propose "pin the tail on the kitty" rather than Pin the Tail on the Doggie. Injury to NOMS not intended.

ps...you are sooooo good at that game.

Eric...you shame us...THERE IS NO WAY IN HEAVEN ONE OF US COULD/WOULD OR SHOULD put the peg in the hole. NO WAY! Ya look like a trick dog on TV!!! We all decided if one of us was given the peg we'd all hide behind the sofa and chew it up. Period. You must be one smart foxie!!!

All three terriers bow to Eric.

Now bout the not eatin' at camp.

Not so smart. Ur gonna starve, Eric...just eat and get em to call ur mom anyway...

Barkin' at ya...

WHOA! I could never ever ever do that not in one million gazillion years. So impressed. Although I did get to go with Mommy to the hairdresser tonight when she got the gray stripe removed from her part and I DID push my U S Open tennis ball not once but three times into a nice man's crotch. Mommy was mortified that she had to warn him that I might pounce on his nether regions... Everyone there was playing with me. I can't wait to go back in 4 to 6 weeks!

Have fun at camp and let me know if I need to send you a pizza.

Your pal,

Petey

P.S. Can you bring toys with you to camp? I go nuts when those places don't let you have toys. It's like I tell Mommy, "I don't make you go shopping without a credit card!"

P.P.S.

Mommy REALLY likes your William Morris style rug. Sigh.

How clever are you!!!! You're so good at it already you can stop practicing lol.
Crikey Eric, don't go on another hunger strike.

You sure are smart! I don't think I could do that at all!

Good evening Eric.
It was thought that it became it very first.
However, the time put in the hole of the box became early.
This is exactly an order of money.
The result of the practice makes it keep dexterous.
Wonderful happiness of jigsaw puzzle on weekend. :D

Hi Eric.. I'm Ben.. Okay now we have the introductions out of the way ..

I'm here to formally request that you allow Enid to post. Failure to do so may force me to hunt you down and go for gold in a "toss the Eric" game. Poor Benson is berefet without his sweet girl.. so there you have it, Enid posts or I am forced to live up to the media impression of me.. foam dripping jaws and all!!

ok.. all threats aside (just doing a pal a favour you understand!) wow I am uberly impressed at your performancxe with the doggy box. I took a look at that site, Mum has added it to favourites and she will peruse later. It must be a good site, it has a picture of one of my breed brothers on there!

Mum reckons I'm too clumsy for the Dog Box (how rude) pffft! I'll show her how clumsy I am, I challenge her to buy me one so she can prove it (or more accuratley i can prove her wrong!)

Sure is nice to meet another UK doggy, we are certainly the minority around here!

Congrats on the Bronze Medal and what an awesome photograph of you!!

love, licks and tailwags

Hey Eric, I can't remember if I've already shown you my first attempt at the Dog Brick, which J1 videoed. Here's the link (make sure you turn your speakers on): http://jacksonsworld-jackson.blogspot.com/2007/03/mission-impossible-jackson-vs-dog-brick.html
I think it was rather mean of J1 to film my VERY FIRST ATTEMPT! I'm much better at it now...I'm not sure I could be bothered with your new toy though as I think I'd probably rather just eat the pegs! Hope you have fun in puppy camp! J x

Eric!

You are the DOG! I bet you have your PhDog in peg dropping. My girl was laughing her big belly laugh whenever you dropped that peg in the hole. She LOVED the look on your face and the way you stared right at the camera as if to say "Ta DA!"

We're going to check out the games you mentioned. Pretty cool stuff.

By the way. Don't starve yourself at puppy camp. You've got us all worried now.

Goober love,
Stanley

Eric you are too adorable for words. Mama was just telling Papa, "Watch this... that Eric is so smart and cute." You are so good at peg dropping and then when you look at the camera after your trick ... precious Eric!! You are also so fluffy looking. Did you just have a bath?
