THE CASTING COUCH

Been a bit hot this week in Olde Englande for us dogs.

So I've not done much at all. Been in a sit stay for most of the time. And a down stay for the rest of the time.

Know why I've been so obedient? I'll tell you.I've been hanging around waiting and a-waiting and a-waiting for the Dog and Bone to grrrrrrrr rrrrrring. Tee, Hee! DOG AND BONE! That's English slang for a telephone!

Yes. I was waiting for my very impawtant call. He's sure to call me back any day now don't you think?

Been in a SIT STAY waiting for a call on this dog and bone . . .



and when it didn't ring I went outside for a long DOWN STAY by this dog and bone . . . far from home . . .




No call at all.

Not one single grrrrrrrrrrrrr rrrrrrrrrring.

Mr. Steven Spielberg. Why didn't you call me back?

I'm really very good at recalls now.

Even when you call me Snowy instead of Eric.

He needs his Snowy.

I hoped I would be pawfect for the role.

My Square Mom was Snowy when the Young Vic Theatre performed Tintin on stage last year. Pup, oh, Pup, was I proud? I was indeed. My Square Mom's a real wired star you know. A Diva of a Dog is my Mom Diva.



Here she is after being cast as Snowy. Snowy to the Bone. Pure as driven Snowy. Isn't she Diva-ine? That's my very special and forever pal, Matthew, holding Square Mom. He did a fine job looking after me, the first born son, for my first 8 weeks.

Now I'm not being impawtinent but I had in my mind that you might want to keep the role in the family Mr Spielberg. But no recalls from you. No role for me.

Don't mind.

Might need to be Snowy White all the time. Dog-a-blog-impossible.
