BRITAIN'S GOT TALENT

Ahh it's whoopee doo to see you again bloggies!!! Sorry not to visit much this week. Me 'n Mom went away unexpectedly to Cousin Ruby's. Mom nursed her leggeded. While I used every minute to practise singing for next year's show. What one??? This one of course.

Yep. Gave my old bark box a very thorough tune up. Night. And Day. And every minute in between. Trying to outdo loud, noisy builders in the garden next door. Don't want to boast but I think Ruby's new neighbours must of been mightily impressed by my singing. Often heard 'em shouting me encouragement. Thoughtful eh?

Now would of been rude not to do an encore for the builder fans. So Ruby and I would give them our special double bubble duet perfomance. You can probably tell by looking. Ruby's a sonorous soprana.

While I'm more of a laid back tenor. With a fine falsetto finish. Course. Everybloggie over this side of the big pee is yappity yapping about this year's Britain's got Talent show. It's the final this weekend. Mom is backing the cool dude who, quote, is "sax on leggeds" And me??? I'm bb b b barking for Susan Boyle.

Mom sez she's not surprised. Thinks Susan and I have things in common. Funny that. Yeah??? We do??? Besides our fine barkboxes???

Wonder what that would be then everybloggie? Teee,he,heeee!!! (Only joking Susan barkin' loud and clear for you...all those builders too)

Hi Eric
We think we might have heard your singing or was that a fog horn?
Nevertheless we think you should certainly audition.
Did you see the tap dancing dog? Personally we thought that he should have got through to the finals!
We fear that Susan Boyle will not cope with the pressure.
You know how it is - small town girl meets the big city media and lets face it she is no spring chicken!
Our mum is with yours on the sax player - he is very watchable!
Eric if you want to look at forming a group we can certainly howl!
How about Eric and the bassets?
Or Eric, Bailey and Martha? Believe us our howling is music to the ears - our neighbours too encourage us - only the other night one could be heard trying to howl along with us!
So give the matter some though dear boy - after all if Susan isnt too old for stardom then neither is Bailey!
Of course Martha can take on the younger, blonder personna - we are a bit like Abba really.
love and kisses
Aunties Martha & Bailey xxx

We have been admiring Susan's vocals all the way over here, too. What a voice!

Somehow, I do see a resemblance...do you think she's a WFT owner? If not, oughta be.

Eric me boy, time to make a call to the groomer, hehehe. Maybe bleach those caterpillars a bit for a more sun-kissed summer look. I've been warming up my vocals as well over here because guess what? We have our very own pet mouse. Yep. It lives in the bedroom and Mica and I have taken turns making sure it gets sufficient exercise. It's taken up residence under the chair, in a box that contains a pair of YSL boots of Mommy's. She is not pleased, which surprises me, because obviously, this is a mouse with good taste.

The question is...will it taste good?

I'll keep you posted. May need to call in Aggie for reinforcements.

Your pal,

Petey

hey Eric! we will be interested to see who is winning your talent contest. of course, we think it would definitely be YOU, if only you were entered. Susan Boyle sings really pretty, but that little boy is good too. we're glad that you were doing lots of practicing with Ruby. she looks like she would be a great opera singer.

woofs.

Oh Eric...

Poor Susan Boyle.....the voice of an angel silenced by all the pressure. She surecould sing....reminds Gram of Ethel Merman...lots of people probably don't even know who she was....

The only thing you and Susan Boyle have in common is ya both have cats.....

I swear we could hear ya singin' all the way across the Big Pee.....ya should be a shoo-in for the 2010 competition....

ERic!

You are COMPLETELY cracking me and my girl up (in FACT, my girl is about to wee on the floor... which she is now lying upon... after falling out of her chair).

For the longest time I looked at that last photo of you and all I could think was, "Wow! Now that's one creepy looking photo." until I finally figured out what you and Susan have in common.

By the way, I'm LOVIN' that photo of you and Ruby performing together! What chemistry! What stage presence! LOVE it!

I'll be catching up on all your recent posts now since my girl's been a lazy git for the past 3 weeks!

Goober love,
Stanley
