RICHMOND PARK

Everybloggie. Welcome. I'm on an impawtant mission. Here, in Richmond Park. One of my bestest and most favourest places. Just as short wigwag away from where I wag my wig. Did you know it's the biggest Royal Park in London.? An enormous 2500 acres. Full of woodlands. Hills and Dales. Ponds and Gardens. Grasslands and Trees.Teeming with Wildlife. Vast open spaces, pawfect for me to run free. The Park has Royal connections from King Edward in 1272. Woah. Very Olde England. It's a National Nature Reserve too. Best of all it's dog-a-blogging-beautiful. Especially in Autumn.

OOOoooooodles of famous leggededs are around here. See them all the time. Don't want to brag but some of them are chums of mine. Impressive eh? Need to give them guys my most impawtant message. Want to meet them ? Come on. Wig your wag this way. Gander at the autumn show. And remember. Keep 'em peepers peeled for the VIP's. . .

Just take a look at them trees. Showing off. "We can see you trees. Yeah, you're beautiful. Giving those cousins of yours in the NEW England a run for their money eh?" Tee,heeee!!

Get a wag on down this up and downy path, see if them fleet of footededs are around.

Peep over the feathery ferns.. .their hiding place....not there.

I'll leave my calling card. Let 'em know we're here.

Wait up. Pause to pose in all the orange autumn glory. My favouritest colour.

AAAAAhhhhhhh. Sniffed 'em out. On their tail now. Come on. Don't be shy. Let me introduce you.

Bloggies...this is DANCER! PRANCER!

VIXEN! COMET! (GULP.. he's a big 'un) CUPID! DONNER! BLITZEN!

AND..... TA DA!....... RUDOLPH!!!

"Hey guys! Listen up. Get outta here!!! Kick up those hoofsies!!! Off to the Pole with you!!! Make it sharpish. Can't keep Santa waiting. Not long to go now" Phew. Nice one. Another mission successfully accomplished.HA,HA!!!!

Eric,

I am soooo jealous that you have an entire park to run around in — and off the leash! Our little patch of concrete at the run seemed like paradise until I saw those photos.

And Santa's reindeers—are you sure they're eating good English grass to fly so high? Or is it perhaps something a bit more powerful?

Your calendar has made Mommy VERY nervous. Something about shopping and presents and such. Gulp.

Well, I'm going back to sleep to dream of such places as Richmond Park....

Your pal,

Petey

Eric: You look just perfect in Richmond Park. Spot on in that orangey photo, like you are to the manor born. Are you hiding connections with other famous leggededs from us?

Dear Eric,

Richmond Park looks like a pawsome place to hang out and explore, and you don't have a leash on!!! The trees look absolutely beautiful. We just had some rainy windy days that have pretty much stripped off all the leaves, it is very depressing.

Santa Paws reindeer are huge, but they must know that Richmond Park is a great place to hang out.

Oh that is a lovely place. It rminds us of our Arboretum in some ways! But we think your park is a bit bigger( and a bit older!) And..we do not have such important people there(unless you count Wily Coyote) We love the fact that you are off lead( cuz lord knows we would be in Brighton if we were off lead there) Love and kisses A+A

Eric, your park looks magnificent! You are so lucky that you can be trusted to go off lead - my parents won't let me go off lead because they are worried that I would run away...and they are right...I would run (and doggy paddle) my way to jolly ol' England...

Holy cow, Santa's reindeer!!
I used to live in New England and we didn't have anything as exciting as that. But we did have pretty stuff like in your pictures. Maybe that's why they named it after England.

Wow Eric, we were so envious of that park and all that space to explore, much better than our fields home here, and all those beautiful trees to climb.
We were looking forward to seeing your famous friends too, then......
Gulp,Eric, th th those are v v v vishus d d d deer. Oh my cat!!! Eric don't you know that they eat tender juicy young cats, and maybe older ones too? We don't know if you woofies are safe, but we hope so. Please be very careful Eric

Beautiful scenery, I can see why you like to run there. And some monster bucks! Wow! Puts our little whitetails here to shame, it does. Glad to see Rudolph's fattening up for that long Christmas Eve night ahead.

Crikey Eric,
You know some very important four leggeds. They're going to be pretty busy next month.
That park is huge. Is it close to the centre of London?

Those deer are waaaaay bigger than any we have here in Georgia! We have never seen one in the wild with a rack like that! Your Richardson park looks like a great place for a run. We, however, would have to be on-leash. We are hooligans without a leash and don't come when called...unless of course, we WANT to!

I've never been to Richmond Park but the Js have. Not for quite a while though.
How splendid to see Rudolf and the gang. If you see him again could you ask him to put in a good word for me with Santa? I don't want a lump of coal in my stocking! J x
